Our osteopaths are approved for a variety of rebates and services to help you access treatment at KT Health & Wellness.

HEALTH FUND REBATES

All of our osteopaths at KT Health & Wellness are registered providers. On the spot health fund rebates are available through HICAPS. We will simply swipe your membership card and you will only need to pay the gap. The rebate amount will vary depending on your cover. Check with your health fund provider to find out how much you will receive for each osteopathy treatment.

Please note: A private health fund rebate can not be claimed for a consultation that is receiving a Medicare rebate.

MEDICARE REBATES

Medicare rebates are available for Osteopathy with a valid GP referral under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) program. This was formerly referred to as Enhanced Primary Care or EPC. 

CDM enables GPs to plan and coordinate the health care of patients with chronic or terminal medical conditions, including patients with these conditions who require multidisciplinary health care. A chronic medical condition is one that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer.

The full fee for the Osteopathy treatment is payable at the time of your consultation. The medicare will be processed on the same day and you should receive your rebate into you nominated bank account within 24-48hrs. The rebate amount for Osteopathy under the CDM program is $55.10.

WORKCOVER

Our Osteopaths are approved Allied Health Providers under the NSW Workcover Scheme.

DVA

At InTouch Health Co. we offer treatment for individuals covered by the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA). We provide treatment with no gap for white and gold card holders. There is no upfront cost to you, as we process the payment directly through DVA.
